In providing the Service, Ugoemo Inc. uses cookies and, for some features, causes information to be sent from your device to third parties. The following disclosure is published in accordance with Article 27-12 of the Telecommunications Business Act of Japan.

The cookies we issue ourselves are listed below. Cookies issued by third parties are covered in the next section.

Information sent to third parties
Using the Service causes information to be sent from your device to the following providers. How each provider handles it is governed by the privacy policy linked from its name.
| Recipient | Information sent | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Pages viewed, times of access, referrer, IP address, browser and OS type, and identifiers stored in cookies | Understanding usage through analytics and improving the Service |
| Google reCAPTCHA | IP address, browser and OS type, and information about your interactions on the page | Preventing automated and fraudulent form submissions |
| Cloudflare | Source IP address, request content and headers | DNS resolution, content delivery and attack mitigation |
| PayPal | The amount required for payment, the order identifier and PayPal account details | Processing payments |
| Stripe | The amount required for payment, the customer and payment method identifiers, and card details | Processing card payments and detecting fraud |
| Ugo Account | The user identifier, name, email address and its verification status | Authentication through single sign-on |
How to stop these transmissions
- Choosing "Reject" in the consent banner at the bottom of the page stops anything being sent to Google Analytics. To withdraw consent after granting it, clear your browser storage and the banner will appear again.
- You can refuse cookies in your browser settings. However, if you refuse the cookie used to keep you signed in, you will not be able to sign in to the console.
- Installing the opt-out browser add-on provided by Google stops Google Analytics measurement entirely.
- Transmissions to reCAPTCHA, Cloudflare and the payment providers cannot be disabled, as they are required for fraud prevention, delivery and payment. If you would prefer not to use them, please do not use the corresponding features.
